Hailing from DeKalb County, Indiana, REkT started out as a few ideas, a whole lot of talent and even more ambition. With members having all played in bands or jammed with one another musically before, it didn’t take much convincing to start rehearsing together. Spending a few months rehearsing in a dimly lit basement of their guitarist’s house, REkT took the stage for the first time on December 31, 2016 in Auburn, IN at Four Crowns, a favorite local watering hole. 

From a dimly lit basement to headlining shows in their tri-state area, REkT has been actively performing live in venues ranging anywhere from : cornfields in Ohio, bars, local festivals, weddings, charity events, private parties, corporate events to a pontoon in the middle of Lake James, Indiana!

REkT caters to a wide age demographic musically, covering anything from the 60s to today - with no genre off limits! Something for everyone to enjoy and dance the night away, creating lasting memories with friends and loved ones.
